DRAGON QUEST Smash/Grow is a roguelite action RPG where you smash through endless waves of classic Dragon Quest monsters and defeat powerful bosses using the series' iconic Coup de Grâce attacks. Unlike traditional Dragon Quest games, every run in Smash/Grow feels completely different thanks to a unique random Blessing system that keeps the gameplay fresh and exciting every single time you play. How to Play

You tap and hold to move your character through Rifts — special dungeons filled with monster waves — and release to attack. As you defeat enemies your Coup de Grâce gauge builds up, allowing you to unleash devastating signature Dragon Quest attacks that clear entire rooms of monsters. Each run takes only 2 to 5 minutes to complete, making it perfect for quick gaming sessions on mobile.

The Blessing System

The Blessing system is the heart of Smash/Grow. As you pass Angel Slime checkpoints throughout each stage, you choose from random Blessing skills that power up your characters and change your battle strategy. Blessings reshuffle every stage, so no two runs are ever the same. Mix and match Blessings to discover powerful combinations and dominate every Rift.

Vocations and Party Building

Build your party from a variety of classic Dragon Quest vocations, each with their own upgrade trees and weapon preferences. Form a party of three characters and switch between them mid-battle to exploit the strengths of different vocations. As you level up, unlock vocation tree nodes to enhance each vocation's unique abilities and create the ultimate dream team.

Game Modes

DRAGON QUEST Smash/Grow is packed with content beyond the main story. Join Co-op Quests with up to 3 other players to crush hordes of monsters together. Challenge yourself in the Gauntlet mode for endless waves of enemies. Take on powerful bosses in Shrine encounters for the greatest rewards. The main story begins with Chapter 1 titled "Send 'Em Flying! Slime Invasion" and follows the Hero defending their homeworld of Valdecia.
